Central Virginia Electric Cooperative

Central serves 35,482 members in parts of fourteen (14) counties. There are ten (10) governing positions. Men have eight (8) seats, and women have two (2) seats. Nine (9) seats are held by whites, one (1) is held by a woman. The elections are by combinations of various county districts, none of which amalgamate to a majority-minority district, and there are no at-large seats.
