Prince George covers four (4) counties and has 11,000 members. Of the seven (7) board members there are six (6) men and one (1) woman. Five (5) of the board members are white and two (2) of the board members are black. The black board members were from Petersburg in Dinwiddie County and Disputanta in Prince George County. All members were elected from geographically identified districts. Given that almost half of the geographical areas are non-white, even though there are two non-white board representatives of the seven (7) seats, everything being equal, it would seem there might have been considerably more with three (3) or four (4) seats.
